FAQs

1 / Can I stop over any time to see dogs available for adoption?

No, the dogs do not live here. Pedro Pet Pals hosts adoption events at our facility with our partner rescue organizations most Sundays. Be sure to check our calendar to confirm schedule.

2 / How much does it cost to adopt a dog?

This is dependent on the referring rescue organization.

3 / Can I take home the dog the same day?

Not in all cases. Dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations and be neutered/sprayed. For local adoptions, arrangements may be made to bring the dog back for the procedure.

4 / Do you provide spay and neutering?

There are several low-cost spay and neutering clinic available close by, including those managed by Community Animal Medicine Project (CAMP, formerly SNPLA). Please check https://www.campla.org/clinics for locations, hours and appointment information.

5 / Can you help with my dog's medical needs?

On premises, CAMP offers vaccinations and medical treatments (no spay and neutering services at this location). As funds are available and based on qualified needs, we may be to assist in some veterinary costs, or can refer you to low cost providers. Please visit "Resources" on the Pedro Pet Pals website
